Privacy policy for using the DCT Application

Last updated: June 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how United Die Company, Inc. (“United Die Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a corporation formed in New Jersey, United States, handles information in connection with the Die Configuration Tool (“DCT”) applications for macOS, iPadOS, and iOS (the “Apps”). It is specific to the Apps. Use of the udico.co website is governed by our website Privacy Policy.

By installing or using the Apps, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the Apps. The Apps are licensed business software intended for United Die Company customers.

Information we collect

License key

To use the Apps you must enter a valid United Die Company license key. The key is transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to our license server to verify your license, and it is stored locally on your device so you do not have to re-enter it each time. Without a valid, active license, the Apps cannot be used.

Connection and security metadata

When the Apps validate your license, our license server records the IP address, approximate location (country), and time zone of the request, along with the time of validation. We use this information solely for security purposes — for example, to detect unusual or potentially unauthorized use of a license.

Feedback you choose to send

If you use the in-App feedback feature, we receive the message you write and, optionally, your email address, together with your associated customer/company name and the App version. We use this information only to respond to and act on your feedback.

Die configuration inputs

The numeric die-design parameters you enter (such as sizes and angles) are sent to our servers to perform the die calculations that are the core function of the Apps. These are technical engineering values and are not personal information.

Information stored only on your device

The Apps store the following locally on your device and do not transmit it to us except as described above: your validated license key (to remember activation), your most recent die configuration (so the App reopens where you left off), and a record that you accepted the End User License Agreement.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

The Apps do not contain third-party advertising, do not use advertising identifiers, and do not include third-party analytics or tracking technologies (for example, Google Analytics, Firebase, or similar). The Apps do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and we do not use your information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Cookies are a web-browser technology and are not used by the Apps.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. Information processed by the Apps is handled by United Die Company and by our hosting and content-delivery provider, Cloudflare, which operates the servers that validate licenses, perform calculations, and receive feedback. The Apps are distributed through the Apple App Store; Apple’s own privacy terms apply to your download and any payment, and we do not receive payment-card information.

How we protect your information

We use SSL/TLS encryption and other appropriate measures when transmitting information between the Apps and our servers.

Information retention

We retain license-validation records and feedback only for as long as needed for the security and support purposes described above, and as required to administer your license.

Children’s privacy

The Apps are business tools intended for licensed United Die Company customers and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your information, to withdraw consent, to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell it), and to lodge a complaint with a competent authority. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below. We will verify your identity (typically using your name and email address) before acting on a request, and will respond within the time required by applicable law (generally within 30 days).

Location of data processing and international transfers

All data processing takes place in the United States. If you access the Apps from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and may be accessible to authorities of that jurisdiction. Where applicable, we rely on standard contractual clauses and other appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy at this address with a new “Last updated” date.
