DCT - Licensing Issues

How to request, enter, and troubleshoot your DCT license

Introduction

The Die Configuration Tool requires a valid license key to operate. Licenses are available free of charge to all existing Udico customers. This article covers how to request a license, how to enter it, and how to resolve common issues.

Requesting a License

If you are an existing Udico customer and do not yet have a license:

  1. Go to udico.co/dct/dct
  2. Click the Get Started tab
  3. Complete the DCT License Request form
  4. Udico will email your license key to the address provided

Entering Your License Key

Once you have received your key:

  1. Launch the DCT at dct.udico.co
  2. Click Preferences in the toolbar
  3. Select the License tab
  4. Click Change License Key
  5. Enter your key and confirm

Your license information (company name, email, expiration date) will appear in the License tab once accepted.

Common Issues

License key not accepted

  • Copy the full key exactly as provided, including all dashes
  • Verify you are on the official app at dct.udico.co
  • Contact dct@udico.co if the issue persists

License expired

Your expiration date is shown in the License tab under Preferences. Contact dct@udico.co to renew.

Application not loading

The DCT must be accessed from the official Udico server. If it does not load:

  • Confirm you are online
  • Clear your browser cache and reload
  • Verify you are using a supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Safari)
