Your Design Library stops living on one device. Designs follow you between your iPhone, iPad, Mac and the web app — and backups now tell you what they are about to do before they do it.
Udico Cloud sync
- One library, everywhere — designs saved on your iPhone, iPad or Mac appear in the DCT web app, and designs saved in a browser appear in the apps. Available with a standard access code.
- Auto Sync keeps it current by itself — on launch, when you bring DCT back to the front, and when you open the Design Library. The Design Library shows when newer changes are waiting and which device they came from, and you can turn Auto Sync off and sync by hand instead.
- Deletions travel — deleting a design now removes it everywhere, rather than leaving copies on your other devices to reappear later.
- No accidental duplicates — designs created in the web app no longer arrive as a second, identical copy when they sync into the apps.
Backups, Restore and Merge
- See it before it happens — Restore and Merge show exactly what will be added, brought back, updated or removed. Nothing changes until you have seen the list and confirmed it.
- Restoring applies to all your devices, not just the one you are holding. Designs missing from the backup are removed everywhere, and the confirmation names them and counts them first.
- Restored designs stay restored — bring a design back and it stays, on every device, instead of disappearing again the next time things sync.
- A backup is taken straight after a sync that changed anything, rather than waiting until the next time you open DCT.
Also in this release
- Signing in with a different access code asks first — DCT no longer merges your designs into that account automatically. Declining keeps the two libraries entirely separate until you decide otherwise.
- Easier to tap on iPhone and iPad — the Design Library's menu and its per-design controls now meet Apple's minimum touch size.
- macOS — returning to DCT from another app now reliably triggers a sync and a backup check, and the Udico Cloud row states the Auto Sync setting in words, so it stays legible when the window is not focused.
