A new Fine mode for the adjustments that fall between steps — and controls that stay where you put them.
Fine mode
- Ten times finer — the Die Parameters heading now carries a FINE button. Switch it on and Bearing, Blend Radius and Approach Ext step ten times more finely: tenths of a percent instead of whole ones, thousandths of an inch instead of hundredths. Those fields outline in gold while the mode is active, so it is always clear which way the steppers are working.
- Only where it helps — Bell Radius, Back Relief and Approach Angle are unchanged. They already step in the increments dies are actually made to, and a finer step would only add digits nobody works to.
- Lasts for the session — Fine stays on as long as you are working. It is not saved with a design and does not follow a design to another device.
Also in this release
- Controls stay where you put them — when a warning appears above the parameters, the rows beneath it no longer shift down. Previously the arrival of a warning moved every control by roughly the height of a stepper button, so the next tap after an adjustment could land on the arrow above the one you meant.
