DCT 1.5 brings the full Mac and iPad layout to iPhone Duo, and a handful of refinements that make the apps clearer about what they are doing.
iPhone Duo
- The full layout on iPhone Duo — unfolded in landscape, iPhone Duo shows Parameters, the drawing and Dimensions side by side, as on iPad and Mac; folded, it keeps the familiar iPhone layout. Help opens the guide that matches the layout on screen.
Also in this release
- A cue when a panel has more below — the Parameters and Dimensions panels show a soft fade and an arrow at the bottom while more settings lie below, so none are missed.
- A cleaner number pad — the screen behind the number pad and its Done bar no longer shows a white band.
- FIT is available to accounts it has been granted to — when your access code has been granted the FIT feature, the Fit button appears as soon as you sign in, as it does in the web app. FIT is a customer entitlement and is not enabled on every account; ask dct@udico.co if you would like it on yours.
- The sign-in screen tells you when Cloudflare reports a problem — if Cloudflare, which hosts DCT, reports an incident affecting a service DCT depends on, the sign-in screen says so, with a link to the DCT service status page. Signing in is never held up while DCT checks.
- Mac: Apple silicon required — DCT for Mac 1.5 runs on Macs with Apple silicon, macOS 14 or later.
