Web App b64 — Your Library, Everywhere

Build 64 · August 2026 · dct.udico.co

Your Design Library now lives beyond the browser: automatic cloud backups and cross-device sync arrive in the web app.

Cloud backups & sync

  • Automatic backups — your library backs itself up to Udico Cloud whenever it changes. Clearing the browser, or moving to a new computer, no longer means losing your designs.
  • The Backups tab — the Design Library now has two tabs: Designs and Backups. The Backups tab lists your cloud backups, and any of them can be restored or merged in place.
  • Auto Sync — on by default, your library keeps itself current across every browser you sign into: when you sign in, open the library, or return to the window. A Sync button is there when you want it now, and the status line tells you when newer changes are waiting — and from which device.
  • Deletions that stick — deleting a design now stays deleted everywhere you sync, instead of the design reappearing from an older copy.
  • Merge from File — the Import button is now "Merge from File…" on the Backups tab, making clear it adds an archive's designs to your library rather than replacing it.
  • Private and encrypted — backups are private to your access code and stored encrypted. Coming next: the Mac, iPad, and iPhone apps join the same cloud backups, bridging the web and native libraries.

Also since our last update

  • The Design Library came to the web app — save, search, and group your designs right in the browser, with customer names and tags, and move whole libraries between devices as .dctlib archives fully interchangeable with the native apps.
  • DXF parity — exports from the web app now match the Mac and iPad apps exactly, so the same design lands in CAD identically from any platform.
  • Fit to Viewport — every die is framed properly, square and hex nibs included, and the view re-fits when you resize the window or collapse a panel.
  • Clearer readouts — Blend Radius displays as a radius ("R 0.463""), matching how machinists read it.
  • One version family — the web app reports the same version line as the native apps, and Help links directly to DCT for Mac on the App Store alongside the iPhone & iPad link.
