Restoring and merging now show you their work before they do it — and a design you ask for back stays back.
Restore & Merge
- Preview before it acts — both Restore and Merge now show what will be added, updated, brought back or removed, with the designs named. Nothing changes until you confirm, and Merge, which previously applied immediately, now asks like everything else.
- Restoring applies to all your devices — designs in your library but not in the backup are removed everywhere, not just in this browser. The confirmation names them and the button carries the count, so the consequence is visible before you press it. A safety backup is still taken first.
- Restored designs stay restored — previously a design you brought back could disappear again on the next sync, because the deletion had been recorded more recently than the design's last edit. Asking for a design back is now treated as the later action, so it stays, on every device.
Your library, your choice
- Signing in with a different access code asks first — DCT no longer combines your designs with that account's Udico Cloud library automatically. It shows how many designs are on each side and asks. Choose Keep Separate and nothing is sent or received under that code until you decide otherwise — you can change your mind any time from the Design Library.
- One design, not two — designs that travel between the web app and the iPhone, iPad or Mac app now stay a single design. Previously a design created in the web app could come back from a synced device as a second, identical copy. Existing libraries are tidied automatically the first time you open this build, keeping the most recently edited version.
